About Madboy

Madboy was a hard rock/metal band founded by guitarist and songwriter Wika in 1987, shortly after the disbandment of his former band, Meanstreet.

Now based in Trondheim, Norway, Wika aimed to make Madboy an original music project from the start. Despite several lineup changes, a final, cohesive band never came together. However, the project became a key platform for Wika's growth as a songwriter in the hard rock and metal genres. Due to a lack of resources for professional recording, the project was shelved in 1989 as Wika shifted his focus to music studies.

Today, Wika is re-igniting the project by restoring old 4-track demos and re-recording some of the material for a possible future release.
